A. How to
greet in an interview
1. When you enter the
room, greet everyone first by saying - Good Morning Sir/Ma'am and then seek
permission to sit by saying: "May I sit down?".
2. When they tell their names, or introduce themselves, say:
"Nice to meet you, Sir/Ma'am"
3. If they appreciate your work, say: "Thank you".
4. Before you leave say: "Thank you for your
time!"
B. Do's and Don’t's in Interview hall
1. Before you enter
the room, seek permission, and then be very calm and relaxed.
2. Always seek permission before sitting down
3. Don't be too nervous, they are there to select you and
you must show your skills.
4. If you don't know something, just say, "I don't
know", instead of making something up
5. If they ask you something which is opinion based, have a
strong opinion and take a stand. This reflects on your decision making. If you
want to take both sides, then justify it.
6. Ensure that your hands are dry and clean before shaking
hands.
7. If you need time to think about an important decision,
you can respond by saying "Let me think about that and get back to
you."
8. Before leaving the room, thank the interviewers for their
time by saying "Thank you for your time. Have a great day!"
C. Telling your strenghts and weaknesses in an interview
Strenghts:
1. I am very good at leading teams
2. I have deep expertise in sales
3. I am very diligent and detail oriented
4. I am an organized worker
5. I am very punctual
Weaknesses:
1. I sometimes get impatient, but I am working on improving
this.
2. I can't sit idle, I get bored very easily if I don't have
enough work.

Interviewer: What are your educational qualifications?
Interviewee: Ma'am, I have done my schooling from Jaipur. I
did my Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from Jaipur and my Masters of
Business Administration from Ajmer.
Interviewer: Have you done any short term courses as well?
Interviewee: Yes Ma'am, I have done a course in Finance.
Interviewer: Why did you quit your previous job?
Interviewee: Sir, I quit my previous job because I had to
move back to this city. My parents stay here, and I wanted to be with them.

Sir, I quit my job because there were limited growth
opportunities in my previous organization.

Sir, I had to quit my job because I had been working there
for a long time and received no hike.
F. Phrases you should know for Salary discussion:
1. I am a fresher but
I am very committed to my work and I work well under pressure, so I hope you
would offer me a fair compensation.
2. I expect a 20%
hike over my last drawn salary
3. I do not have a
number in mind, but I expect a fair compensation
4. I have 4 years of
experience in this field, so I expect a salary of at least Rs. 5 Lacs
5. I have been a top performer in my current organization,
